This video showcases the different rates that characters fill up their berserk meters when they taunt. It's pretty self-explanatory, and I'll include the basic findings below.
Spike and Lion build meter the slowest and require six taunts to completely fill their berserk. Eagle, Tom and Monster Jerry all fall in the middle of the pack, and require four taunts to fill their meter. The remaining six characters (Nibbles, Tyke, Jerry, Butch, Quacker and Robot Cat) all fill meter very quickly, requiring only a little more than two taunts.
This serves as a key balancing mechanic for many characters, as those who deal damage the fastest or have the most HP generally take longer to build berserk, while otherwise weaker characters can fill meter from only a few hits and then use the invulnerability from their berserk modes to launch a safe aggressive assault.
The exception to this, of course, is Robot Cat, who has one of the fastest meter fills on top of already having potentially game-breaking stalling capabilities. Y u do dis, Daddy Spikeurai?
I have more videos in this series planned for the future, so stick around.
